This is a special Quatrain I am dedicating to Gbenga Sesan on the book presentation. Pls. read it.
An Icon of the times ('Gbenga Sesan)
As I plan to start,
my pen made a loud fart
in my heart, still i wonder
on this, still I ponder.

My words won't fail
the truth on the head I must nail
I will shout aloud,
clear, like the white cloud

The hurdles of time,
troubles like chyme
challenges though large
your heart you did enlarge.

Like a bullet leaves the nozzle
you shot out through the puzzle
you never focused on the gain
with joy you took the pain.

Over coasts of nations,
over poles of stations;
your impacts around, we see
even in lands, over the sea.

The darkness of your skin,
the chances, though so thin
were never so capable
of making you stumble.

You held the fort
Ignorance, you fought
we see you shinning today
working to get there, someday

Gbenga...your name gives hope
that despite Nigeria,we'll cope
many, young and old are inspired by your words
that's why you can write 'in my own words'

Grace gave you global opening
hardwork brought global reckoning
teaching us to leave impacts,
and relating responsibly in fact.

'Cos you have set the pace
In the world, you gave us a face
you are not just an Icon of our times
you are an Icon of the times
